The focus of this diploma thesis is to assess the information system of the development company and subsequent proposals for its improvement. The introductory part describes the information and theoretical background associated with the topic of the work. The analytical part deals with the presentation and analysis of the company and its information system. In the end, the achieved results and measures to eliminate the identified shortcomings are evaluated, which should contribute to increasing the efficiency and security of the information system and the company itself.

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá posouzením informačního systému firmy a návrhem změn. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První, teoretická část, je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních pojmů, které jsou v diplomové práci použity. Druhá, analytická část, obsahuje představení společnosti, její analýzu a rovněž analýzu informačního systému. Na základě těchto informací je sestavena poslední, návrhová část, jejímž obsahem je zvýšení zabezpečení informačního systému společnosti Tereos TTD, a.s.

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na posouzení informačního systému a návrh změn. Východiskem pro analytickou a návrhovou část byl teoretický základ dané problematiky. Použité metody jsou z prostředí projektového managementu. Výstupem této práce jsou rady pro organizaci, které by měli posílit slabá místa informačního systému. Dále implementace nástroje pro projektové řízení včetně potřebných financí i jeho alternativy. Všechny návrhy možných řešení jsou nasměrované na podnik, který působí v segmentu lidských zdrojů.

This diploma thesis focuses on analysis, evaluation and improvement proposals for an information system used by a specific company from the insurance business. The company offers services to insurance companies, such as motor vehicle or property inspection and damage assessment. The first part describes the theory related to the main focus areas of this thesis. The second part contains an overview of the company, its analysis as well as evaluation of the information system used within the company. Finally, a set of proposals will be formulated, based on the outcomes of company and information system evaluation, aiming to simplify company processes and increase company’s productivity.

Design and Implementation of the Surveillance Information System

The main goal of the master thesis is design and implementation of information system for monitoring purposes. The implemented monitoring system will be able to automatically monitor devices of a certain company. This goal is preceded by strategic analysis using PEST and 7S methods for examination of current state of the company. Another part is the analysis of the efficiency of service processes using the HOS method together with the selection of a suitable monitoring system. An enhancement of service processes is designed by the Lewin model. Finally, the selected information system for monitoring was designed, implemented and tested. A deployment of the system should provide simplification of devices supervision, to save costs as well as to speed-up the response-time to unexpected situations.

Posouzení informačního systému firmy a návrh změn

Diplomová práce se věnuje posouzení informačního systému v akciové společnosti UNIKOM a.s. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. V první kapitole jsou představena teoretická východiska nutná k pochopení pojmů souvisejících s touto tématikou v rámci informačních technologií a informačních systémů. V této části jsou také představeny analytické nástroje, které byly použity k vypracování části následující. Druhá kapitola této diplomové práce je zaměřena již na samotnou společnost UNIKOM a.s. a analýzu jejích vnitřních a vnějších faktorů a posouzení informačního systému pomocí zvolených metod. Výstupem druhé kapitoly jsou informace o problémových částech společnosti a systému. Ve třetí části jsou získané informace použity k vytvoření návrhů vedoucích ke zlepšení situace ve společnosti.

This Master’s thesis focuses on selection and implementation of information system for company Jungla, s.r.o. The company builds and sells real estate built with wood. The first part of the thesis explores theoretical fundaments, needed to understand the topic. The second part contains previous analyses of the company, results of these analyses lead to decision to implement commission information system. The last part summarizes the requirements, selection, implementation of commission information system, and financial burden and benefits of the project.

This thesis focuses on the assessment of the information system of Company X, which is engaged in the production of air conditioning units. The main objective is to improve the security of the information system. The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first part clarifies the basic theoretical concepts, the second part is devoted to the analysis of the external and internal environment of the company, including an audit of the information system. The third part is based on the results of the ZEFIS portal and contains proposals for solutions to improve the current state of the information system security.
